Instructions

  1. It is compulsory for every child to come to school in neatly ironed full School uniform (including ID card and plain black school shoes) on all working days.
  2. Students must be in school uniform whenever they enter the school premises for special classes, annual day rehearsals, competitions, PTMs, etc.
  3. If the student is not found to be wearing proper uniform on more than three occasions, warning letter will be issued. Habitual defaulting will be viewed seriously.
  4. Students are advised to be punctual to the school. Students coming late to the school shall be marked as ‘Late’ in their diaries. Further, students coming late on more than three occasions will be issued warning letter. Habitual late coming will be viewed seriously.
  5. Students must keep their hair neat, tidy and well combed. Girls should plait their hair and must use only plain black rubber bands. Girls must not let loose their hair below shoulder level. Wearing fancy and colourful hair clips and earrings are not allowed. Boys must have regular haircuts, only crewcut. Hair should be neatly combed and oiled. Hair gels are strictly not allowed.
  6. In the interest of safety, pupils are prohibited from wearing any ornaments or jewellery to the school.
  7. Nails should be trimmed regularly. Use of nail paints, henna is not allowed. Girls are instructed not to wear ankle socks.
  8. Students are not allowed to wear fancy wrist watches. Only leather/plastic strapped wrist watches are allowed in school.
  9. Students are prohibited from carrying mobile phones to the school. Bringing expensive items like Cameras, CDs IPODs, Pen-drivers. MP3 players are strictly prohibited. Any sort of games, cards or objectionable literature to the school will attract severe penalties and disciplinary action.
  10. The school is not responsible for goods lost. Any loss or suspected theft should be reported immediately to the Class Teacher/Co-ordinatior/Principal.
  11. All student should avail the services of “Lost and Found” Department. In case, any student finds personal belongings of other within the school premises, the same should be deposited with the department.
  12. Students should not bring more than reasonable allowances of money to school unless specifically permitted by the Principal. Lending or borrowing of money is not permitted.
  13. English should be preferred to be spoken in the school premises so as to acquire fluency in the language.
  14. Students absenting themselves from examinations/assessments will not be given another opportunity.
  15. It is mandatory for average performers to attend the remedial classes which will be conducted on Saturdays or as scheduled.
  16. Students must attend school positively on the re-opening day after long holidays.
  17. Students are advised not to take leave to revise for any forthcoming examination.
  18. Promotion depends not only on academic performance but also on attendance. Students are therefore advised to be regular to the school.
  1. Parents must ensure that children bring the Almanac to school everyday and carry books according to the timetable.
  2. Parents should check the Almanac everyday for homework and other instructions.
  3. Parents should notify change of address or telephone number in writing to the school so as to keep proper record of such information.
  4. Parents may note that name and date of birth of their ward(s) once entered in the school record will not be altered.
  5. Progress Reports sent to the parents should be signed and returned the next working day.
  6. Parents are asked to avoid requesting leave for their wards as far as possible. In case of absence for special reason, leave application should be submitted in writing in advance either in person or through almanac. In case of sickness, level letter should be produced on the day the students resume school. Producing medical certificate is essential in case of long absence.
  7. Parents’ attendance for the PTM meeting is compulsory. Students should accompany their parents in their school uniform and carry their Almanac for “Parent Teacher Meetings’.
  8. Parents must meet the concerned teacher when they are called to discuss the progress of their wards.
  9. Parents are requested to ensure that their wards carry their tiffin and other things required in school with them when they leave for school in the morning. The school will not accept anything sent during working hours due to security and administrative reasons. In case your ward has not brought his tiffin, the school will take care of the child by making him share with his peer group or meal from the canteen, the bill for which would be borne by the parents.
  10. Parents should ensure that their wards follow the rules and regulations of the school strictly.
  11. Parents are expected to encourage their children to speak in English at home so as to facilitate fluency in the language.
  12. No pupil will be allowed to leave the school during school hours. No half•day leave applications will be entertained.
  13. Parents, who are desirous of taking their wards home during working hours. (in case of any emergency), should come in person and get permission from the Principal by submitting a written request, duly signed. It may be noted that functions, going out-of-station, family programmes, etc. will not be treated as emergencies.
  14. Parents are advised to refrain from sending an obviously sick child to school. Only emergencies will be attended to.
  15. Students cannot be excused from regular participation in the physical education programmes.
  16. Parents must ensure to notify the school if a student suffers from ailments like severe allergies, diabetes, heart diseases, etc.
  17. Students are not supposed to be present in the school premises before the specified timings in the mornings and after the school hours in the afternoon, unless specifically required by the school authorities. Parents’ co-operation is expected at all times for smooth & efficient functioning of the school.
  1. The school follows “Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation System (CCE)” for all classes as per CBSE norms.
  2. There are no formal exams in the Pre-Primary Section. However, students are promoted on the basis of continuous comprehensive evaluation of various scholastic and co-scholastic aspects.
  3. The Academic year for classes I-X onwards comprises of two terms, viz. April to September and October to March. Each term will have two Formative and one Summative Assessments which includes paper-pen tests, practicals, assignments, activities and projects.
  4. The evaluation of the students would be based on continuous and comprehensive evaluation pattern. The objective of the evaluation would be diagnostic, remedial, reinforcing and developmental. The focus of assessment would be on testing the skill-base of the learners in the course of their learning process.
  5. Other instructions related to the examination system and promotion of the students is mentioned in the instruction manual in detail.
  6. Promotion entirely depends on students’ performance in the tests. 75% attendance is also a pre-requisite for promotion to the next class.
  7. Attendance for tests/assessments is compulsory. Students assenting themselves from tests/assessments will not be given another opportunity.
  8. Parents are requested to study the progress reports/mark sheet carefully and co-operate with the school to improve the academic standard of their wards. Progress reports will always be kept in the custody of the school.
  9. Students have to strictly abideby the rules and regulations of the school, failing which a strict disciplinary action would be taken.
  1. It is the duty of every student to attend school punctually. Parents must ensure that their wards attend school on time and regularly.
  2. Students coming to school by their own transport should arrive 10 minutes before the bell. Students must be picked up punctually after the school hours .
  3. Late comers will not be allowed inside School premises after 7:44 am.
  4. Students coming to school by bicycles should keep their bicycles properly locked.
  5. Any school property or furniture intentionally damaged or destroyed by a pupil must be paid for by the parent/guardian. In addition, disciplinary action will be taken against such students.
  6. Students are expected to move quickly and quietly from class to class. No running or loitering in the corridors will be tolerated.
  7. No expensive gifts on birthdays are allowed in the school. You may send only toffees (one per child), if desired. Anything other than this will be sent back home. Kindly do not leave anything at the reception in this connection/with any other staff, etc. Children till class V, are only allowed to come in their casuals on their birthdays.Students are strictly prohibited from giving gifts to teachers.
  8. Students are expected to keep the school campus clean. Littering will attract disciplinary action.
  9. All Students should carry a clean handkerchief to school every day. Students who carry their lunch to school should bring a nap kin.
  10. Student should not use ball point pens for any type of school work.
  11. All the students should be in their class as soon as the school bell is rung during all periods. No use of washroom/water point is allowed without the teacher’s permission.
  12. Non-parliamentary behavior, bullying and use of foul language are punishable offenses inside school premises or even outside, under the purview of the school.
  13. No student who has been absent on the previous day will be admitted to the class until the parent fills up the leave form for each day the student is absent from school stating the reasons for absence.
